Floor Pro Takeoffs helps busy contractors bid more projects, reduce estimating workload, identify missing scope, and make confident material and pricing decisions. Services span complete flooring quantity takeoffs, room-by-room breakdowns, specification review, material and waste factor calculations, and final quality-control checks for a wide range of project types. The team works with industry-leading platforms such as MeasureSquare 8, RFMS, STACK, Kreo, Bluebeam, and Callidus to deliver reliable outsourced estimating support.

About the role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Flooring Estimator to join our team and deliver fast, accurate takeoffs for our growing client base. You'll work directly from blueprints and floor plans to produce quantity estimates our clients can rely on for competitive bidding.

What you'll do

• Perform flooring takeoffs and quantity estimates from architectural drawings and floor plans

• Use MeasureSquare 8 (or comparable takeoff software) to calculate material quantities

• Review project specs to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness

• Turn around estimates within client deadlines

• Communicate with the internal team on project scope and clarifications

• Job Timings: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Central Time, US)

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in flooring estimating, quantity takeoffs, or construction estimating

• Prior experience working on projects in the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia

• Proficiency with MeasureSquare or similar estimating/takeoff software

• Strong blueprint and floor-plan reading skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment on complex takeoffs

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround deadlines

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Familiarity with both imperial and metric measurement systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote team collaboration

• Reliable, self-directed work style suited to a remote role

Nice to have

• Civil engineering or construction management background

• Prior experience working with flooring contractors or subcontractors
