A highly regarded mid-size CPA firm in Rockville is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing tax leadership team. This position is a fully on-site role designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative, interactive environment and values face-to-face mentorship and client engagement. If you are a licensed CPA looking to take complete ownership of complex compliance portfolios, lead an established local team, and advance your path toward partnership, this role delivers that trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting directly to corporate executives and business owners.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of senior and staff tax accountants in the Rockville office.
• Conduct advanced technical research on complex tax matters and guide the team on evolving federal and state compliance regulations.
• Oversee engagement workflow, billing metrics, and client communications to ensure seamless, timely delivery.
