Benjamin Office Supply & Services is a growing small business specializing in the delivery of office supplies and furniture to our valued customers. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and reliable delivery. We’re seeking a professional and dependable Furniture Assembly/Installer & Driver to join our team and ensure timely, accurate, and friendly deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver office supplies and furniture to customers’ locations. No personal homes.
• Ensure all items are delivered in excellent condition and properly assembled, if required.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers.
• Address any delivery-related questions or concerns with exceptional service.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
• Adjust routes as necessary to accommodate changing delivery needs or traffic conditions.
• Conduct routine checks on the delivery truck to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Verify delivery manifests and ensure all items are accounted for before departure.
• Handle returns and damaged goods appropriately, documenting as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver or in a delivery role.
• Medical DOT card.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, including office furniture.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is a plus.
