We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer focused on React who is passionate about building exceptional web and mobile experiences. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing scalable applications and APIs for byformation.com using state-of-the-art tools and frameworks.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT FORMATION

• Web and Mobile Development: Build and maintain robust web applications using Next.js and React, as well as high-performance mobile applications with React Native.
• Backend & API Engineering: Develop secure, scalable APIs and manage backend services using Supabase to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Platform Integration: Utilize Apple Developer tools to integrate and enhance iOS capabilities.
• Deployment & Content Management: Deploy applications quickly using Vercel, and integrate dynamic content with Builder.io.
• Database Familiarity: Skilled at accessing, querying and writing to data stores like PostgreSQL and Google-based platforms.

YOU BRING TO FORMATION

• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in software engineering with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end development.
• Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks, especially Next.js, React, and React Native.
• API & Backend Skills: Proven experience in building, testing, and scaling RESTful APIs, with familiarity in leveraging platforms like Supabase.
• Platform Familiarity: Hands-on experience with deployment tools such as Vercel and content management systems like Builder.io; experience using Apple Developer resources is a plus.
• Team-Oriented Mindset: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in agile teams, contribute to peer reviews, and drive technical innovations.
• Adaptability: A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and a commitment to continuously improving development practices.
• Self-Manager: The technical team will begin a solo business unit and scale over time, led by the Full Stack Engineer.
