RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify opportunities to use data to support decisions to improve business performance.
- Support the region in the consolidation, creation and review of reports using the existing systems, looking always for improvements and enhancements to generate information easy to share and analyze for leadership.
- As a member of the Reporting and Analysis team, is a key partner to support business necessities and requirements, always advising with the most appropriate knowledge to support the company requirements.
- Enable interaction with other functional groups to maintain a collaborative and interactive environment that will benefit the company.
- Inventory, Productivity, Cost Savings, Fixed cost and other key metrics in the company are key drivers for the position to support the analysis across the region.
- Cost Control & Financial Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze operational costs, including freight, inventory, direct materials, and cost allocations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for financial optimization.
- Support operations and supply chain teams with cost variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Freight Cost Management:
- Track and analyze freight expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Develop reporting mechanisms to monitor freight expenditures and identify trends.
- Support the Region in the creation, consolidation, generation and review freight reports, developing classifications (Standard, Premium, Courier) improving the accuracy of analyses and supporting decision making.
- Inventory Analysis:
- Support Operations, monitoring inventory levels, and challenging current levels and forecast inventory seeking for efficient gains.
- Review and evaluate inventory costs, including E&O.
- Assist in developing inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess costs (ITO).
- Ensure accurate cost allocation for inventory valuation and financial reporting.
- Direct Material Cost Oversight:
- Analyze direct material costs to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide insights on material cost fluctuations and their impact on financial performance.
- Process Improvement & Financial Controls:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations.
- Implement best practices for cost control and financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures within operations and supply chain.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to drive cost efficiency.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts for operational departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Solid experience in the Financial area.
- Communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a strong understanding of financial principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership capabilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- It should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling sensitive financial information, and making informed decisions under pressure.
- Ability to pull together and summarize large amounts of data into concise explanations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- ERP Systems experience, preferably Oracle or SAP.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
- Advanced English and Spanish is a plus
