As a Supply Chain Optimization Analyst, you will be part of a team to drive the design of global supply chain networks, with particular emphasis on Europe and the US, and bring your expertise in data-driven insights to optimize cost, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Collect and analyze large data sets on transportation flows, demand patterns, and warehouse capacities.
- Leverage tools such as Excel and Power BI (or comparable data analytics software) to generate actionable insights.
- Apply basic scripting skills (Python or R) for data wrangling and advanced analytics.
- Develop strategic network designs to balance costs and service requirements.
- Validate and refine model outputs through scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Communicate technical findings and project statuses to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Graduation in Engineering, (Business) Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
- Advanced Excel expertise in large-scale data analysis, data quality control, solution modeling, and concept validation.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Analytical Mindset
- Strong numerical and conceptual thinking.
- Enjoys working in teams, open to contributing to group problem-solving.
- Able to adapt to changing project needs and deliver consistent results.
- Capable of presenting technical results to peers and managers.
- Desirable:
- First experience in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Background in transport logistics or other supply chain related areas
- Exposure to optimization tools or methods (linear programming, heuristic modeling, etc.)
- Advanced communication skills
- Work, internship, or project experience in data analytics, supply chain, or network modeling
- Prior international exposure (study abroad, global team collaboration) is a plus
