Maintenance Assistant

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in a job well done. This position requires flexibility, accountability, a positive attitude, and the ability to assist with a variety of maintenance needs throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or long-term care maintenance experience preferred, but not required
• General knowledge of basic maintenance and repair work preferred
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing preventative maintenance throughout the facility
• Painting and touch-up work
• Basic plumbing repairs
• General facility repairs and upkeep
• Assisting with additional maintenance needs as assigned

This position also requires participation in a weekly on-call rotation.
