Responsibilities
The Opportunity
- The Agribusiness Manager is responsible to ensure and manage the required raw material volume straight from the growers with cost and quality required by PepsiCo in Brazil Business Unit. Be in charge to elaborate the agricultural development Plans in the Short, Medium and Long term (5 to 10 - 15 years) for the Raw Materials. Develop the Agro team to be able to guide the technical development of the growers, agronomists, and areas related to the supply of agricultural raw materials in order to follow the proposed plans and ensure sustainability of agro supply for the company in Short, Medium and long term. Responsbile for PSP, AOP and Agro KPIs.
- Lead Sustainable Farm Program, Regenerative Agriculture agenda and Agro Productiviy Projects. Ensure the Logistics Operations across the supply chain according to the quality, quantity and cost, in order to obtain a sustainable and efficient supply of raw materials for the manufacturing plants. Responsible for SFR (Service Fill Rate) and OTIF (On time In full) as Agro indicators for plants, contribuinting to PepsiCo´s Indicators for consumers.
- Lead the Storage Program providing new technologies, business plan, cost and waste reduction, creating an alignment with Agro Production Map and Plants Sites as strategic plan for long term and sustainability for potato supply chain.
- Lead Digital Transformation and Innovation across Agro Supply Chain aligned with the Digital Value Chain agenda.
- Responsible for Potato Washing Stations with themes of quality, food safety and sustainability according to an strategical Operacional Plan for these facilities.
- Lead and Develop the Agribusiness Field and Supply Strategy to guarantee the operation by taking into account:
- Ensure compliance with the strategic development plans of supply of agricultural raw materials (PSP Plan);
- Set and assess compliance with the objectives of PDR and make the carrier plan for the collaborators in charge;
- Lead the team to interact with inbound transport (control tower), supply planning, manufacturing, quality, R&D and finance teams to delivery the volume defined by each plant, service level, raw material quality and input cost according to the plan;
- Lead the development and ensure compliance with annual procurement plans for agricultural commodities in charge;
- Develop and lead the Brazil Potato Storage Strategy (Self Storage and 3rd Partners) in order to guarantee the efficient supply to manufacturing plants throughout the year avoinding downtimes and assuring supply;
- Define SLA for storage, transportation and potato washing stations providing a strategy for Continous Improvement;
- Lead Digital Transformation according to Digital Value Chain Global agenda;
- Lead the Productivity Agenda in Agribusinnes Process, supporting all teams during mapping the opportunity, projects creation, validation and execution;
- Responsible for Change Management across Agro Supply Chain (from field to plants);
- Implement Grower Score Card and the Grower Strategic Plan to score and provide improvement;
- Design and Negotiate the annual contracts that ensure the supply of raw materials;
- Agro Field, Supply and Storage budget management;
- Ensure the development and implementation of the long term supply strategy across Brazil Growers;
- Guarantee the full implementation of the Agro corporate strategy of field sustainability policies which ensure the fulfillment of international regulation;
- Implement the agro best practices plan to improve the efficiency use of the resources;
- Align SFP agenda and evolution with the Global Sustainable Office - indicators and follow up projects;
- Lead the Productivity Agenda in Agribusinnes Process, supporting all teams during mapping the opportunity, projects creation, validation and execution.
- Lead the team to assure full compliance with general PepsiCo policies (SOX, R&IC, general audits)
- Define the mid and long term strategy of the seed potato and varieties pipeline with the Seeds and Variety teams.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Engineering in Agriculture, Foods or Professional with proven experience in similar positions in the agricultural sector
- Master degree and/ or recommended specialty (Agribusiness desirable)
- Leadership skills, strategic planning, positive negotiations as demonstrated strengths.
- Strong focus on people development
- English: Advanced
- Experience in Agronomy processes and overall performance of Operations
- Knowledge management in the areas of Agribusiness, Quality, Food Safety and General Operations
