The short version

ThreadMob makes custom apparel, uniforms, promo products, print, and company webstores for businesses across the country — all under one roof at our 22,000 sq ft production facility in Columbus. Countless companies trust us to be their one vendor for all of their needs, and those customers deserve someone who picks up the phone, gets the quote out today, and makes reordering painless. That's this job. You'd be one of our first two inside sales reps, reporting directly to our Director of Sales. This isn't a cold-calling seat. It's the person our existing customers talk to and build a relationship with.

What a day actually looks like

• Morning production meeting at 9:30 — you'll know what's on press, what's in embroidery, and what ships today, so when a customer asks, you have the answer.
• Working the inbox and Slack: reorder requests, "can you send me a quote on 48 polos," "we hired six people, can we get them the same jackets as last time."
• Building quotes in Printavo and keeping the job board in your Monday.com CRM current so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Pulling together mockups and product recommendations so a customer can see their logo on the shirt before they say yes.
• Proactive check-ins with accounts we haven't heard from in a while — not a sales pitch, just "hey, anything coming up we should get ahead of?"
• Coordinating with production on timelines, art approvals, and the occasional "the event moved up a week" fire drill.
• Work closely with the Director of Sales and the marketing team to implement sales initiatives throughout the year.

Some days it's twenty small things. Some days it's one big webstore launch. Either way, the customer should feel like they have a person, not a ticket number.

Who this is for

• You're organized in a way that survives interruptions. Small orders get lost when nobody's watching them — you're the person watching.
• You write clearly and you're comfortable on the phone. Most of this job is communication.
• You like people (we can’t stress this enough) and can vibe with customers, a marketing director, an HR generalist, and an office manager in the same hour.
• You care about details — sizes, colors, quantities, and decoration methods — because in this business, the details are the product.
• Bonus points for any experience in custom apparel, screen printing, embroidery, promo products, or print. We'll teach the rest — you'll have SOPs, a full 30-60-90 onboarding plan, and a manager who'd rather answer a question than fix a mistake.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do and how you treat people. Experience and coachability go a long way.

• $12-15/hour, full-time W2 with overtime potential, Monday through Friday, no weekends!!
