Utility Worker

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Utility Workers for temporary and ongoing assignments throughout the Boston area. Utility Workers play an important role in supporting kitchen and food service operations by maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas and helping with back of house operations.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing, and food service areas.

Sweep, mop, and clean floors and work areas.

Remove trash and recycling and maintain designated disposal areas.

Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and supplies.

Support cooks, food service workers, and other kitchen staff as needed.

Follow all sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

Previous utility, dishwasher, kitchen, or food service experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen operations.

Ability to follow food safety and handling procedures.

Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.

Show up to work on time, and ready to work, punctual, and professional.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends when needed.
