KCD Staging is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our growing moving team.

We specialize in transforming vacant homes into beautifully staged spaces throughout Kirkland, Bellevue, Seattle, Snohomish County, and surrounding areas. If you enjoy staying active, working with a strong team, and having a workday that is rarely the same twice, this could be a great fit.

Please note: This is a MOVER position only. This is not a designer position. Our movers work alongside our design team and are responsible for safely moving, placing, assembling, loading, and unloading furniture and staging inventory.

What You'll Do

• Load, unload, and transport furniture, artwork, rugs, accessories, and décor
• Move furniture safely throughout residential homes, including up and down stairs
• Place furniture according to direction from our staging and design team
• Assemble and position furniture as needed
• De-stage homes after they sell and safely return inventory to our warehouse
• Unpack, organize, and restock staging inventory
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse
• Assist with loading and unloading company moving trucks
• Drive company moving trucks when qualified and needed

Schedule

Our team begins each workday at 7:00 AM at our warehouse in Kirkland, WA before heading out to staging and de-staging projects.

A typical workday ends around 4:00 PM. During our busiest season, some days may extend until approximately 5:00–6:00 PM, depending on the project schedule and workload.

During slower periods, workdays may occasionally end earlier.

Applicants should be comfortable with some flexibility in daily hours, as our schedule is based on the needs of our staging projects and clients.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Is reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Enjoys physical work and working as part of a team
• Can safely lift and carry 75+ pounds
• Is comfortable repeatedly moving furniture and inventory throughout the workday
• Is comfortable working on stairs and in multi-level homes
• Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Can adapt to changing schedules and project priorities
• Pays close attention to furniture, inventory, homes, and client property
• Communicates well with teammates, designers, and occasional clients
• Can follow direction while also working independently when needed
• Has a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Has reliable transportation to and from our Kirkland warehouse

Previous moving, furniture delivery, warehouse, installation, or logistics experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Language Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English is required for safety, training, team communication, and occasional client interactions.
• Spanish language skills are a plus. We have a bilingual team and welcome bilingual applicants.

• Experience driving moving trucks or box trucks
• Furniture delivery or installation experience
• Warehouse or logistics experience
• Furniture assembly experience
• Retail or customer service experience
• Strong organizational skills
