Tax Manager

We are a top CPA firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team in Skokie, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA or experienced tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, leading tax engagements, and providing high-level tax planning and compliance services.

What You'll Do

-Manage and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations

-Oversee multiple tax engagements and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

-Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients

-Research and interpret complex tax issues and regulations

-Develop and maintain strong client relationships

-Review work prepared by staff and senior-level tax professionals

-Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide strategic recommendations

-Assist with training, mentoring, and developing junior team members

-Communicate directly with clients and serve as a trusted advisor

-Support firm leadership with special projects and other tax-related initiatives

What We're Looking For

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

-CPA license strongly preferred

-5+ years of public accounting tax experience

-Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

-Experience reviewing individual and business tax returns

-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

-Ability to manage multiple client engagements and competing deadlines

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
