Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - Marysville, Yuba City & Wheatland, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Additional Compensation: $500 stipend per birth

Position Overview: Seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive midwifery and women's health services, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, gynecologic, reproductive, and family planning care.

This position includes providing labor and delivery care in a dedicated out-of-hospital Birthing Center. Candidates must be fully competent and comfortable managing autonomous, natural births outside of a traditional hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to expecting mothers and women.
• Provide gynecologic and family planning services.
• Provide preconception and prenatal care.
• Manage labor and delivery.
• Provide postpartum care.
• Provide care for normal newborns during the first 28 days of life.
• Provide STD testing and treatment for expecting parents and male partners.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Counsel patients regarding contraception, reproductive health, and family planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current California Nurse Midwife License required.
• Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical services.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Must be comfortable and competent with autonomous natural births in an out-of-hospital birthing setting.
