Associate Attorney-Personal Injury

Fulltime in office in San Rafael preferred but open to Hybrid for the right candidate.*

Position Overview

The Associate Attorney will support senior attorneys in handling cases related to personal injury and litigation, focusing on representing plaintiffs. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for advocating for clients' rights.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Represent clients in court during hearings and trials
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Develop case strategies with senior attorneys
• Attend depositions and settlement conferences

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member of the state bar association
• 1-3 years of experience in personal injury and litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
