Build and Lead a High-Performing Commercial Plumbing Service Team

VeriTech Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead our growing commercial service operation in Orange County.

We are not a residential plumbing company.

VeriTech specializes in commercial service plumbing, supporting property managers, HOAs, restaurants, retail centers, facilities, industrial properties, multi-site operators, and other commercial customers throughout Southern California.

We are growing quickly, and we're looking for a hands-on leader who can develop technicians, improve operational performance, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and help us build a best-in-class commercial service organization.

This is an opportunity for the right person to play a major leadership role in the continued growth of VeriTech Plumbing.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead the Service Team

Manage, coach, and develop our commercial service technicians while establishing clear expectations for quality, productivity, professionalism, and customer service.

Manage Daily Service Operations

Work closely with dispatch and office operations to manage scheduling, technician capacity, emergency calls, customer priorities, and daily workflow.

Drive Technician Performance

Monitor technician productivity, billable efficiency, callbacks, job completion, documentation, and other key performance indicators.

Maintain Technical & Quality Standards

Provide technical leadership and ensure work is performed safely, professionally, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and company standards.

Own the Customer Experience

Help resolve escalated customer issues, communicate with key commercial accounts, and ensure our customers receive responsive and professional service.

Improve Profitability

Manage labor efficiency, overtime, material usage, job costing, gross margins, and other operational metrics that directly impact department profitability.

Develop the Team

Conduct regular technician meetings, coaching, training, ride-alongs, and performance reviews while helping identify and develop future leaders.

Recruit & Build

Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining high-quality commercial plumbing technicians as we continue expanding.

Utilize ServiceTitan

Use ServiceTitan to manage and measure service operations, technician performance, job costing, workflows, reporting, and departmental KPIs.

Help Scale the Company

Work directly with senior leadership to improve processes, implement systems, and build the operational infrastructure necessary for continued growth.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of plumbing service industry experience preferred

• Previous experience as a Service Manager, Plumbing Supervisor, Field Supervisor, Service Operations Manager, or similar leadership position

• Strong commercial service plumbing knowledge

• Proven ability to manage and develop field technicians

• Strong understanding of job costing, labor efficiency, gross margin, and service department KPIs

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable holding people accountable while maintaining a positive team culture

• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work with professional commercial clients

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced service environment

• ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred

• Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record

A California plumbing license or applicable trade certifications are a plus but are not required for the right candidate.
