Salary: $82,500 - $88,500 per year

Job Details

Are you passionate about oral health and patient care? Are you looking for a rewarding career that allows you to make a difference in people's lives? If so, our dental practice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you'll be playing a vital role in maintaining the oral health of our patients, providing preventive dental care, oral health education, and treatment planning support. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

As a Dental Hygienist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing preventive dental care to patients, including cleaning, polishing, and application of sealants and fluorides.

2. Performing dental charting and periodontal assessments to monitor the oral health of patients.

3. Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.

4. Assisting in the development of individualized treatment plans for patients.

5. Properly coding procedures for billing and record keeping purposes.

6. Adhering to strict infection prevention and control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

7. Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

8. Participating in community outreach programs to promote oral health awareness.

To be considered for the Dental Hygienist position, you must have:

• A degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• A current dental hygienist license.
• Proficiency in dental charting, periodontal assessment, and clinical documentation.
• Experience in providing oral health education to patients.
• Knowledge of procedure coding and treatment planning.
• Strong skills in patient communication and community outreach.
• A thorough understanding of infection prevention and control protocols.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
