PIPING ESTIMATOR

Industry leading mechanical construction contractor is seeking an experienced

Mechanical Piping Estimator. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for large-scale commercial and industrial piping projects. Candidates will only be considered if they have a minimum 5 years’ proven mechanical piping estimating experience.

Essential Functions

  • Review project blueprints, specifications, and RFP documents.
  • Perform detailed take-offs of piping systems and components.
  • Calculate accurate material, labor, equipment, and tracking costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field superintendents.
  • Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical piping estimating
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex industrial and commercial blueprints.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Autobid), in addition to Excel and Word.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
