Pamela Self Landscape Architecture Ltd., (PSLA) is an established design firm located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Our passion is creating inspirational and creative outdoor spaces for our clients and their community. We have a diverse project portfolio and work on a wide range of landscape projects primarily centered around schools, parks, streetscapes, retail, corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, and high-end residential.

Position Description

PSLA is in search of a highly motivated landscape architect with 8+ years’ experience in a design office environment. The candidate’s primary responsibilities will be project management, site analysis, client communication, drawing and document production, and cost estimating. The candidate can expect to be involved in all phases of project development from design through production to construction administration and closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience working under the pressure of deadlines and can prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Position offers full-time employment in a boutique office, salary with benefits, paid vacation, and retirement package. Pay is negotiable based on experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture.
• 8 years experience minimum.
• Demonstrate project management experience.
• Skilled in communication with clients and other design professionals.
• Ability to problem-solve independently.
• Collaborate effectively and bring ideas to the table.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in a wide range of computer skills including AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Google Sketch-Up, MS Office, MS Excel, etc.
