Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Manages work orders and blueprints to set up and operate CNC milling and lathe equipment, producing production and prototype parts with minimal supervision. Ensures parts meet tolerance specifications and supports efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work orders to determine part specifications
• Set up tooling and fixtures independently
• Operate CNC mills to produce production and prototype parts
• Inspect parts for tolerance compliance
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC milling equipment
• Edit programs under supervision when needed
• Operate lathe equipment
• Operate CNC machinery using Haas or Fanuc controls

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of machining industry experience
• Advanced mathematics knowledge
• Blueprint reading ability
• Proficiency with measuring and hand tools
• Proficiency with Haas or Fanuc controls

Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years CNC milling experience
