Position Overview

As a Tax Manager, you will oversee the preparation, rigorous review, and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and trusts, specifically handling key forms such as 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, and 1065. You will drive advanced technical tax research, analyze evolving tax law changes, and formulate proactive tax planning strategies designed to minimize liabilities while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing tax provisions, navigating financial statement reporting, and successfully representing clients during IRS or state audits and examinations.

Beyond technical acumen, this position demands a natural leader and relationship builder. You will act as the primary client contact, advising High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), business owners, and trust beneficiaries while translating complex tax concepts into clear, actionable advice. You will take charge of supervising, training, and mentoring junior tax staff, reviewing deliverables to ensure exceptional quality. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other internal service lines-including accounting, advisory, and estate planning-and champion process improvements by leveraging modern tax preparation software and tax research tools to scale firm operations efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
