Litigation Associate Attorney - Sacramento or San Francisco
A well-regarded California litigation firm is hiring a Litigation Associate Attorney to take on complex, high-stakes matters from day one - with direct partner mentorship, real courtroom exposure, and a workload that supports sustainable practice. - Take and defend depositions; prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
- Conduct legal research and deliver strategic analysis on complex business and commercial disputes
- Attend hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and arbitrations as lead or supporting counsel
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and refine case strategy throughout each matter
- Coordinate expert witnesses, prepare exhibit lists, and support trial teams during active trials
What you need
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 2-6 years of complex general litigation experience at a law firm
- Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing substantive motions

Nice to have
- Trial experience (first- or second-chair)
- Experience in business, commercial, or real estate litigation
- Deposition experience in complex multi-party matters
