Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000

Location: Camarillo, CA (ON-SITE)

Position Overview

Seeking a Design Engineer to lead PCB layout and design activities for advanced servo amplifier and motion control products. This role works closely with Electrical, Embedded Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Test, and Quality teams to develop high-performance electronic products featuring power electronics, microprocessors, high-speed communications, and mixed-signal circuitry.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and layout multilayer PCBs for new and existing products
• Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, manufacturing drawings, and release documentation
• Support component selection, design reviews, prototyping, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain CAD libraries, symbols, footprints, and templates
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and manufacturing partners
• Review designs for manufacturability, testability, thermal performance, EMI/EMC, and compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years of PCB design/layout experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience with multilayer PCBs and high-speed digital, analog, or mixed-signal designs
• Ability to read, create, and modify electrical schematics
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly, DFM, and DFT practices
• Experience with microcontrollers, processors, FPGA, or DSP-based designs
• Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, thermal management, and EMI/EMC principles
• Experience with Siemens PADS, Altium, Cadence, or similar PCB design tools preferred
