ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Assistant to directly support two Commodity Trading Managers. In this dynamic position, you will serve as the backbone of our operational workflow, keeping our lead pipeline full, maintaining data accuracy, supporting client communications, and expanding our digital footprint among our companies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the sales team with lead generation, follow-ups, and client communication
• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and print channels
• Manage and update the company's CRM system with accurate customer and prospect data
• Create and schedule content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
• Coordinate the production of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and email newsletters
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities
• Assist with trade show and event coordination, including logistics and promotional materials
• Track and report on key marketing metrics and sales activity on a weekly basis

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–2 years of experience in a sales support or marketing role preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus
• Experience with social media management and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) preferred
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Interest in or knowledge of the building materials or construction industry is a bonus

Monday – Thursday, 9am – 4pm
