VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (PCU) for an acute care hospital in Lubbock, TX.

Contract details

- Weekly pay: $2,151/wk

- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)

- Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00

- Duration: 13 weeks

- Start date: 11/16/2026

- Openings: 4

About the assignment

- Progressive care unit with all-telemetry patients; ratio 1:3-1:4

- Floating between units required

- Weekends: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

- No on-call; no block scheduling

- First-time travelers accepted

- Short-term acute care, Level II trauma center (379 beds)

- Dress code: solid navy blue scrubs

- Free parking

Requirements

- Active Texas RN license (compact accepted)

- 1+ year of recent PCU/telemetry experience

- BLS and ACLS
