We specialize in commercial flooring projects and take pride in delivering quality installations, maintaining strong relationships with our general contractors and customers, and managing projects efficiently from estimating through completion.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial flooring, experience using Measure Square, and the ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Position Overview

The Commercial Flooring Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial flooring projects, coordinating with general contractors, customers, suppliers, and installation crews to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications.

This position requires someone who understands the details of commercial flooring construction, can read plans and specifications, is comfortable with technology, and can manage projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial flooring projects from turnover through final completion.
  • Use Measure Square to perform digital takeoffs, review quantities, and assist with estimating and material planning.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify flooring materials, installation methods, and potential issues.
  • Coordinate material orders, deliveries, installation schedules, and subcontractors or in-house installation crews.
  • Prepare and manage submittals, change orders, purchase orders, work orders, and project documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with general contractors, architects, suppliers, and customers regarding project schedules, changes, and jobsite conditions.
  • Monitor project costs, labor, material usage, and overall profitability.
  • Identify potential problems early and work proactively to prevent delays, additional costs, and installation issues.

  • Maintain accurate project records, including correspondence, approvals, delivery tickets, and other supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, and resolution of outstanding issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial flooring projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Measure Square is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of commercial flooring materials, installation methods, floor preparation, and jobsite conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating material procurement, installers, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with computers and project management software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and take ownership of project outcomes.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites as needed.
  • A clean background with ability to work in government and school facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Measure Square takeoffs, estimating, and material calculations.
  • Previous experience working for a commercial flooring contractor.
  • Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Procore and Monday.com.
  • Experience managing projects involving carpet tile, broadloom carpet, LVT, sheet vinyl, rubber flooring, VCT, and ceramic or porcelain tile.
  • Understanding of commercial construction contracts, change orders, submittals, and project cost management.

What We Are Looking For

We want someone who understands that successful project management involves more than scheduling installers and ordering material. The right candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, maintains accurate documentation, and takes responsibility for keeping projects organized and moving forward.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can identify problems before they become costly issues, work effectively with general contractors and installation teams, and consistently deliver results.

If you have commercial flooring experience, know how to use Measure Square, and are ready to take ownership of your projects, we want to hear from you.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
