Established (40+ Years) Leading Firm Seeking General Liability Associate for General Liability in Alpharetta, GA

An established firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking a General Liability Associate with 2-4+ years of litigation experience to join their Atlanta area office in Alpharetta, GA on a hybrid basis. This associate will handle general liability matters in a growing, collaborative practice, and judicial clerks will be considered.

Salary range: $95,000-$135,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications

2-4+ years of relevant litigation experience, with judicial clerks considered

Experience in general liability defense work is preferred

JD degree from an accredited law school

Active license in good standing in GA

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software is preferred

Self-motivated independent thinking with excellent time management, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills in a high-volume, fast paced team environment

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues

Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements

Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations

Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases

Maintain billable hours as necessary

Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision

Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary
