We’re a boutique firm handling divorce, custody, relocation, child support, and prenuptial agreements, and we believe excellent legal work and a supportive workplace go hand in hand.

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-driven Family Law Paralegal who takes pride in their work, cares about clients, and wants to be part of a team that does things the right way.

What You’ll Do

• Draft pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery requests and responses, and settlement documents
• Prepare and manage case files from intake through judgment and post-judgment matters
• Organize and analyze financial disclosures, including bank statements, tax returns, and business records
• Prepare exhibits, trial notebooks, and materials for hearings, mediations, and depositions
• E-file with the Connecticut Judicial Branch and track deadlines, court dates, and case calendars
• Serve as a warm, reliable point of contact for clients during stressful times
• Coordinate with opposing counsel, GALs, mediators, and court staff

What You Bring

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in family law (Connecticut experience strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with Connecticut Superior Court procedures and e-filing
• Excellent writing, organization, and attention to detail
• The ability to manage several active matters and meet deadlines without being micromanaged
• Professionalism, discretion, and empathy with clients in emotionally difficult situations
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office and practice management software
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position, ideally two days per week in our Hamden office. For experienced candidates with a proven track record of strong work ethic, reliability, and independent productivity, we are open to a fully remote arrangement.
