A fast-growing financial services organization is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Accountant to help build and enhance its public company reporting function in Irving, TX. What You'll Do

• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other public filings
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, disclosures, and supporting schedules
• Research accounting guidance and assist with technical accounting analyses and memos
• Support the development and documentation of SOX-compliant internal controls
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders during quarterly and annual reporting cycles
• Perform disclosure tie-outs, workpaper preparation, and filing support
• Assist with XBRL review and validation processes
• Partner with FP&A and leadership teams on variance analysis and reporting requirements
• Support process improvements within financial reporting and compliance functions

What They're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA or active progress toward CPA strongly preferred
• 2+ years of public accounting or SEC reporting experience
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting concepts
• Exposure to SEC reporting, SOX, internal controls, or technical accounting preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Workiva or SEC reporting software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
