Neurohospitalist Physician — $400,000+ Base Salary

Full-Time Base Salary: Starting at $400,000 annually

Optimum Care is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our team as a Neurohospitalist. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, scheduling flexibility, and support from Neurosurgery and Neurocritical Care in a 326-bed hospital.

Position Highlights

• 7 on / 7 off schedule, with flexibility to adjust as needed.
• Approximately 14 shifts per month.
• Round & Go model, followed by on-call coverage.
• Average daily patient census of approximately 14.
• Average of 1–2 stroke alerts daily.
• Part-time shifts also available.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurological evaluations, treatment, and ongoing patient management.
• Respond to stroke alerts and provide timely neurological care.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, and other members of the care team.
• Complete clinical documentation and coordinate care throughout the patient’s hospital stay.

Additional Earning Opportunities

Supplement your income through additional hospitalist shifts or outpatient clinical work. A full-time outpatient position with a Monday–Friday schedule is also available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
