Role Description

Domingue, Szabo & Associates, Inc. is seeking Louisiana-licensed professional civil engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in roadway, drainage and site design to join our team. Experience with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development project design is desirable. Typical design work includes site civil, drainage, storm water management, highway, roads and streets, and underground utilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish civil engineering design standards applicable to project requirements in conjunction with project manager
• Establish drafting standards in conjunction with project manager
• Schedule management
• Data and document entry into various platforms
• Organize project design and correspondence files
• Coordinate completion of quality control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and other deliverables in conjunction with project manager.
• Shop drawing review and disposition
• Support the Project Manager as directed

Requirements

• Four-year civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution
• 5 to 10 years of experience in roadway and site work design.
• PE license Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites
• AutoCAD proficiency desirable
• Experience in MicroStation a plus.
• Knowledge of standard format specification development.
• Experience with XP-SWMM, HEC-Ras, Civil 3D, Arc GIS preferred

• Monday through Thursday 7:30 – 5:30
