We’re looking for a curious, tech-forward Intern to help build and enhance personal AI agents that improve how work gets done. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience using tools like GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft Agent Framework to design, test, and refine intelligent workflows and automation solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and iterate on task-specific AI agents (e.g., inbox triage, meeting prep, status reporting, data lookup) using VS Code custom agent modes and skill files:
  • 3–5 production-ready agent skills with documentation
  • Agent onboarding guide for non-technical users
  • End-of-summer demo to AI leadership
  • Develop reusable skill templates that other Uniti teams can adopt — standardized patterns for connecting agents to internal APIs (Graph API, ADO, Snowflake, Dynatrace)
  • Build and test prompt engineering patterns that improve agent accuracy and reduce hallucination in enterprise contexts
  • Contribute to the Bartels-automation shared skills repo — write documentation, test skills, and publish agent patterns for org-wide adoption

Do You Have

  • CS, Data Science, or Software Engineering major (rising junior/senior or grad student)
  • Comfortable with Python and REST APIs
  • Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI tooling (coursework or personal projects)
  • Bonus: familiarity with VS Code, GitHub, or Azure
