About the Opportunity

Dream Life Out Loud is excited to announce the launch of a two-year externship program designed for

associate-level therapists in Washington state who are seeking supervision, clinical growth, and hands-on support in building their own sustainable private practice. This is more than just a job—it’s a professional launchpad.

During your two years with us, you’ll receive:

Weekly supervision and consultation

Quarterly practice-building seminars focused on private practice development, business skills, and sustainable growth strategies. The opportunity to take your clients with you at the end of the program, with a one year monthly retainer to Dream Life Out Loud.

This role is ideal for driven associates who want clinical excellence and a clear pathway to independence.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking associates who:

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with BIPOC individuals, couples, and families, with cultural humility and commitment to equity.
• Ability to establish safety and trust, join quickly with clients, and execute effective treatment.
• Value collaborative and integrative approaches with colleagues.
• Motivated to both serve clients and invest in their long-term professional future.

*Bonus skills: Training in EMDR, couples therapy, or specialized modalities

Responsibilities

Carry a minimum caseload of 25 direct client hours/week (equivalent to ~28–30 scheduled appointments).

Complete documentation in compliance with practice standards.

Participate in weekly consultation/supervision and quarterly externship seminars.

Engage in collaborative care and team culture, amplifying belonging and excellence in service delivery.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Pay: $40–$50 per clinical contact hour, based on experience and performance.

Paid onboarding and administrative pay (for team meetings, collaborative care, and approved business development).

Ongoing training opportunities and quarterly externship seminars.

W2 Employee Position

Supervision provided
