Associate Account Executive needed for WKTV in Utica, NY.

WKTV/NBC is the powerhouse TV station in Utica. Our enormous local news ratings combined with top syndication and NBC prime dominate the viewing all day long. We also have a fast-growing CBS station and a complete suite of Digital Products to sell. A loyal, local client base along with a productive sales team.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of an account list, RFPs, meetings, retention and growth
• Close Local New Business each month
• Build relationships with agencies and advertisers
• Learn and grow the digital conversion of Media content
• Assist the sales team in their proposals and RFPs
• Assist the Sales Strategy Manager with National and Digital clients

• Able to work efficiently with attention to detail
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Experience calling on local and regional advertising agencies
• Understand the nuances of negotiating agency business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in: Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word
• Experience with OSI, Wide Orbit, Strata is a plus
• Motivated and driven by performance-based commission

Salary Range: $30,000-$40,000 annually, based on experience
