AI&T Project Engineer - Onsite | Denver, CO - Space Systems & Lunar Mobility
An innovative aerospace company developing advanced lunar mobility and robotic systems is seeking an AI&T Project Engineer to support spacecraft and vehicle integration, verification, and environmental testing activities.
This role will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate and execute test campaigns for next-generation spaceflight hardware in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of spacecraft and vehicle test campaigns
- Coordinate schedules, budgets, facilities, and engineering teams
- Develop test plans, procedures, and verification methods
- Support assembly, integration, and rapid prototyping activities
- Oversee environmental testing including vibe, TVAC, acoustics, static load, and EMI/EMC
- Manage Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and post-test reporting
- Drive continuous improvement across testing and integration processes
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Software Engineering, or similar
- 2+ years’ experience in AI&T, systems engineering, or technical project management
- Experience supporting environmental test campaigns for aerospace or complex hardware systems
- Familiarity with NASA or equivalent aerospace testing standards
- Strong project coordination and cross-functional communication skills
- Experience using MS Project, Jira, or similar tools
