Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan

Location: 17001 19 Mile Rd., Suite 4, Clinton Township, MI 48038

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing agency in Clinton Township. We are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and are looking for an individual who takes pride in building relationships and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for servicing existing clients, assisting with policy changes, answering coverage questions, processing insurance transactions, and supporting agency operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders via phone, email, and in person
• Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, coverage questions, and claims support
• Process endorsements, renewals, and other policy-related transactions
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Follow up with clients regarding policy updates and service requests
• Work closely with agency staff to ensure client needs are met promptly and professionally
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and improve retention

Qualifications

• Michigan Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
• Previous insurance agency or customer service experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with computer systems and office software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
