Role Summary

The PLM Program Director is responsible for leading enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, driving digital transformation, and ensuring seamless integration of engineering, manufacturing, and business processes. This role provides strategic leadership, governance, and execution oversight for PLM platforms such as 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), Teamcenter, Windchill, etc., across global programs.

Key Responsibilities

I. Program Leadership & Delivery:

• Lead end-to-end PLM transformation programs across multiple business units and geographies
• Define program roadmap, milestones, budgets, and KPIs aligned with business objectives
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with high quality and stakeholder satisfaction
• Drive Agile/Hybrid execution frameworks across engineering and IT teams

II. Stakeholder Management:

• Engage with C-level executives, business leaders, and engineering heads
• Act as the primary escalation point for program risks and issues
• Lead governance forums, steering committees, and executive reviews
• Ensure alignment between business strategy and PLM implementation

III. PLM Strategy & Digital Transformation:

Define and execute PLM strategy aligned with Industry 4.0 and Digital Thread initiatives

Lead implementation/enhancement of:

• Product Data Management (PDM)
• Change & Configuration Management
• BOM Management (eBOM, mBOM, sBOM)
• Requirements & Systems Engineering (MBSE, SysML)
• Drive adoption of Digital Twin, Simulation (MBD)
• Model-Based Enterprise (MBE)

IV. Technical & Solution Oversight:

Provide architectural oversight for PLM solutions (3DX, Teamcenter, integrations) Guide system integrations

Qualification: • BE BTECH/ME MTECH
