We are seeking an experienced HR/Business Manager to serve as a key member of its leadership team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leading core business functions including human resources, risk management, training coordination, and regulatory compliance while working alongside experienced leaders.

What You Get to Do!

As the HR & Business Manager, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership, ensuring the organization has the people, processes, and systems in place to support continued success.

  • Partner with executive and operational leaders to oversee day-to-day business administration and support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration for a diverse workforce.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure HR programs, policies, and best practices are effectively implemented.
  • Support employee development by coordinating technical training, certifications, and safety education programs.
  • Serve as the administrative leader for regulatory compliance, including workplace safety, transportation regulations, environmental requirements, and related reporting.
  • Monitor compliance metrics, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and help drive a culture of safety and accountability.

What You Will Bring…

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • Six or more years of progressive leadership experience in HR, business administration, operations, risk or a related function.
  • Experience supporting operations within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, construction, or similar industries.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, employee benefits, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with transportation, environmental, or occupational safety regulations is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing ERP, HRIS, and reporting systems.
  • Professional certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar are a plus.
