City: New York, NY
Est. $66,786 - $68,096 / yr
Contract type: Part time

Hello CUNY students!

We are excited to connect with you about joining our team of NYC-based tutors.

Toolkit Tutors works with NYCDOE schools to provide structured, high-impact tutoring that helps students build confidence, master content, and ace their exams. Our tutors work across all subjects and grade levels, with a focus on small-group and one-on-one instruction.

What sets Toolkit apart is that our tutors don't just teach content: they also coach students in personal organization and study skills so they can become self-sufficient learners.

As a tutor, you'll work part-time (2-3 days per week, 4-6 hours per day), with tutoring taking place during the school day at the school site. Each day you will see 4-5 groups of students. We provide all the curriculum and materials you'll need to run a great tutoring session.

This is a W2 position that pays between $32 and $35 per hour, based on applicant experience ( roughly equivalent to $37 - $40 per hour as a 1099 role once payroll taxes, paid sick time, and retirement match are factored in).
