Armed and unarmed security officers

T47 is seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Armed Security Guards to support our client, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS). FPS is responsible for protecting federally owned or leased facilities and ensuring a safe and secure environment where Federal agencies can conduct business without fear of violence, crime, or disorder.

Selected candidates will provide armed security services in a structured, professional environment and must be capable of responding to emergencies. Positions require availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays to support 24/7/365 operations.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Protect client property, personnel, and visitors through deterrence, detection, observation, and reporting
• Conduct armed security patrols as directed
• Perform access control functions, including facility and campus entry control
• Conduct personnel and vehicle inspections
• Maintain post familiarity and follow all site-specific procedures
• Manage lost and found and controlled property procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate security reports, logs, and documentation

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum two (2) years of Armed Security experience
• Two (2) years of experience in Corrections, Law Enforcement, and/or U.S. Military service
• U.S. Citizenship or proof of Naturalization

Pay: From $28.13 per hour
