Executive Assistant
Strategic Legal Practices
SLP is a leading plaintiff-side consumer protection firm specializing in lemon law and consumer advocacy, litigating aggressively against major manufacturers. We're growing fast and looking for high-output professionals who match our standard.
This is not a traditional admin role. The Executive Assistant acts as a direct extension of Partner-level leadership — owning litigation deadlines, court calendars, and case management from filing through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation & Case Management
- Own the master litigation calendar — deadlines, hearings, CMCs, MSJ dates, depositions, statutory lemon law timelines
- Draft and coordinate e-filing of pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas
- Manage deposition logistics, service of process, and vendor/court coordination
- Maintain audit-ready case files and trial prep materials
Executive Support
- Manage Outlook calendars, resolve scheduling conflicts proactively
- Triage correspondence and draft professional communications on behalf of leadership
- Track action items across cases so nothing slips
- Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, clients, and vendors
Compliance
- Support billing/time-entry review and fee motions
- Ensure zero missed filing deadlines, flagging risks early
What Sets You Apart
You anticipate next steps, track deadlines relentlessly, and draft clean correspondence with minimal edits.

- 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant at a law firm — prior law firm EA experience is mandatory
- Proven track record managing litigation deadlines/court calendars in a high-volume environment

- Exceptional attention to detail; MS Office proficiency
- Ability to multitask independently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional discretion with confidential matters
Preferred:
- Consumer protection, lemon law, PI, or civil litigation background
- CA state/federal e-filing experience (CM/ECF, One Legal)
- Legal docketing/case management software familiarity
