Hennessey Engineering is growing, and we're looking for a licensed Professional Engineer to join our team in Carrollton, TX.

We're a small, close-knit firm that values careful engineering, clear communication, and long-term relationships with the people we work with.

Active PE license in the State of Texas.
Experience with residential construction, including foundations, framing, additions, remodels, new construction.
Familiarity with North Texas conditions, including expansive clay soils and IRC/IBC residential code requirements.
Strong communication skills. You will work directly with homeowners, architects, and builders.
A collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

Design and review structural design for residential and light commercial projects.
Perform site visits and field assessments.
Prepare calculations, drawings, and compliance letters
Work closely with our small team on a variety of projects. Most of our work is custom high end residential.
