The eCommerce Sales & Operations Specialist at Total Retail Group (TRG) is responsible for driving online sales growth for TRG clients within the DIY retail channel. This role combines business development, retailer relationship management, digital merchandising, and eCommerce operations to expand product assortment, improve online visibility, and maximize sales performance across major retailer websites. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and operational capabilities with the ability to identify growth opportunities, influence retail partners, and build relationships within the DIY retail channel.

In this role the Specialist will

  • Define the key components required to successfully grow clients' eCommerce businesses.
  • Develop and document processes for assessing clients’ current e-commerce presence and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create processes and standards for regular e-commerce promotional activity on retailer’s .com sites.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis for clients looking to grow their businesses
  • Conduct market and category sizing analyses to help clients better understand their opportunities, with a focus on e-commerce channels.
  • Lead collaborative efforts with TRG clients to establish buy in for suggested strategies for .com business growth, in the form of remote presentations, in person communication and regular weekly meetings.
  • Own communication, relationship development and sell-in efforts with .com merchants at leading retailers to pitch successful .com programs and assortment expansion.
  • Manage end-to-end online product content, including item setup, product attributes, enhanced content, images, keywords, and ongoing catalog maintenance to ensure retailer compliance and maximize conversion.
  • Position may also include developing, launching and managing sponsored advertising campaigns using retailer’s .com sponsored ad platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in eCommerce, retail account management, category management, digital merchandising, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Experience managing online product content or item setup processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently to achieve goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with DIY, hardware, home improvement, or building products.
  • Experience with retailer portals and item setup systems.
  • Experience with retail media platforms.
  • Experience working directly with .com merchants and/or category managers.

Terms

Full Time – In the office. This is not a remote position. Candidate must live in the Atlanta area and be willing and able to work regular hours in the office.
