Associate Veterinarian | Small, Supportive Team Near Lake Michigan | Mt. Pleasant, WI

Prairie Side Veterinary Hospital is a compassionate care in a close-knit clinic with access to the lakeshore and city life. We believe healthy pets are happy pets. We provide comprehensive care, including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and nutritional counseling.

• 1.5-DVM small animal practice focused on wellness, surgery, diagnostics, and acupuncture
• Located in Mt. Pleasant—minutes from Lake Michigan and close to Milwaukee & Chicago
• Supportive team with a family-like culture and “all hands on deck” attitude
• Equipped with digital radiography, dental rads, in-house labs, and access to ultrasound

What You’ll Do

• Provide medical and surgical care to dogs and cats in a community-focused setting
• Collaborate with experienced staff while maintaining autonomy in a smaller team
• Potential to shadow/learn orthopedic procedures from Medical Director
• Optional opportunity to split time with nearby partner hospitals

Requirements

• Licensed (or eligible) DVM in Wisconsin
• Comfortable working independently and confident in clinical decision-making
• Flexible, team-oriented, and motivated to deliver exceptional patient care
• Interested in surgery, dentistry, or complementary medicine a plus
