Childcare Assistant Director

Just for Kids Needmore is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Director ! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energeticleader in trainingwho is passionate about early childhood education.

To beQUALIFIEDfor this position, werequireaCDA or higher andpreviousexperience working in a licensed childcare facilityas a Lead Teacher.

Required Shift:Monday - Friday

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00/hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process:

• Resume screen
• Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
• On-site interview with Center Director (60minutes)
• Virtual Interview with Regional Director (45-60 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director with developing and executing an on-going program of activities that contribute to the care, growth and development of the children and staff.
• Assist the Directorwithenrollmentactivities, including tours, distribution of marketing materials to potential families.
• Assist the Director with ensuring all State and Company Regulations are always being followed using Licensing Checks.
• Provideguidance to teachers for creative curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom organization.
• Establish professional and supportive relationships with parents and employees connected to the operation of the center.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,runningand climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
