Role Description

The Truck Driver role at QFS TRANSPORTATION is a full-time, on-site position based in Savannah, GA. The Truck Driver will transport containerized cargo to and from designated ports and customer locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, securing loads, and handling basic unloading when required. The role involves maintaining accurate logs, delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route changes. The Truck Driver is expected to operate company equipment safely, uphold customer service standards, and adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record
• Demonstrated Truck Driving experience with containerized or similar freight
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and safe operation of commercial Truck equipment
• Ability to perform basic Unloading tasks and secure cargo safely
• Experience with port or intermodal operations is preferred
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and attention to detail
• Reliable time management skills and ability to follow route schedules
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
