Location: Sandy, Utah

Rudd Cooper is a full-service, mid-sized law firm, seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team specializing in real estate and commercial transactions. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in handling simple to complex Real Estate and Commercial transactions, including M & A. The candidate will work closely with experienced partners and high-worth clients on high impact transactions in a cooperative growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts related to Purchase and Sales agreements, Commercial Leases, Financing Documents and Entity Formations.

Assisting with Contract and Dispute resolution and, when required, participating as an integral member of a litigation team.

Providing strategic counsel to clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and deal structuring related to real estate and commercial transactional matters.

Qualifications

Admitted to practice in Utah with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in handling Real Estate and Commercial transactions. Candidates with other legal experience having a strong interest in expanding into real estate and commercial law will be considered. Courtroom experience required, with Litigation experience preferred.

Ability to simultaneously manage and assist with multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of the team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google workspace, research software, and client/document management systems.
