Your role: The Retail Installation Specialist at Futurebrand that will provide onsite retail installation responsibilities to include conducting retail store audits to assess layout for prototype installations, maintaining communication with all involved parties throughout the project, ongoing development of successful retail installation processes and hands-on installation adhering to project deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Independently travel to various retail locations to conduct store audits with the objective of evaluating the retail space for design installation and implementation.
- Document store layout (including dimensions), assess obstructions, lighting and overall structural elements.
- Photograph sections of the store, adjacencies, planogram set and reporting back finding to the design team.
- Prepare complete and thorough documentation to include; fixture measurements, layouts and other important dimensional information.
- Participate in audit download meeting to bring team up to speed with any unusual on-site situations.
- Provide input and make recommendations to the project and/or design management team as appropriate to the project; move forward with the decision made by the design director or project manager.
- Provide onsite installations/tear downs in stores, retail labs or other spaces including maintaining communication with all involved parties throughout the project to ensure successful completion.
- Provide leadership and manage details of what is required for a successful installation (i.e.
coordination with Mack Studios and other vendors), materials and components, information from internal design and project teams at Futurebrand.
- Trouble shoot and resolve issues on site as well as represent Futurebrand in a professional manner while on the road.
- Assess the quality of project installations and make any necessary adjustments on-site.
- Communicate with clients (particularly while on-site at the installation) to respond to any concerns, questions or recommendations they may have.
- Work with Design Implementation team to purchase products, set shelves and fabricate signage for sets in Activation Retail Lab.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and methods for quality improvement opportunities pertaining to installation and fixture development. Work with engineering team on bringing new methods to fruition.

Education And Experience
- Associate’s degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years working experience, particularly in a hands-on environment
- Proficient in using various basic mechanical tools to completing actions in the field
- Previous supervisory or group leadership experience helpful
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Travel required: up to 50% of time
- Frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and install graphics, fixtures and retail structures on an as needed basis during field installations with weight amounts in excess of 50 pounds.
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
