Part-Time Cafe Barista

JOB SUMMARY

SoLa Impact is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while crafting delicious coffee beverages and fostering a welcoming community atmosphere. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of coffee drinks, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the café area, and ensuring our guests have a delightful experience.

*PAY RATE: $18-$21 PER HOUR

UP TO 26 HOURS PER WEEK - M-F*

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages to customers with precision and speed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Monitor inventory and assist in stock replenishment to ensure smooth operation.
• Participate in training and learning opportunities to enhance coffee knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; previous barista or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong passion for coffee and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a busy café environment with exposure to hot surfaces and equipment.
