Licensed Journeyman Electrician – Commercial Maintenance
Department: Electrical / Facilities Maintenance

Role Type: Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time
About Our Client
Our client is a well-established commercial facilities services provider supporting maintenance and service operations across a range of commercial properties. The company specializes in keeping existing commercial buildings running safely and efficiently — this is not a new-construction environment, but one focused on maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades. The team values technical expertise, independence, and strict adherence to safety standards, and prides itself on responsive, professional service to the facilities it supports.
We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join a commercial maintenance team performing electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades within existing commercial facilities. Day to day, this person will diagnose electrical issues, repair or replace equipment, and keep building electrical systems running safely and reliably — with a strong emphasis on transformers and electrical controls.
This role does not involve new construction. Instead, it centers on preventive and corrective maintenance, service calls, and equipment replacement across multiple commercial sites. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient electrician who can manage assigned tasks independently, communicate clearly with facility managers and other trades, and consistently follow NEC and OSHA safety requirements. A company vehicle is provided for travel between job sites.

- Complete electrical upgrades and equipment replacements within existing facilities
- Travel between customer locations using a company-provided vehicle
- Document completed work, identified issues, and recommended repairs
- Follow all NEC, OSHA, company, and site-specific safety requirements
- Communicate professionally with facility managers, customers, and other trades
