Remote Data Scientist II

We are seeking a Data Scientist II to join our central data team and support data science and analytics initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities Include

• Developing and deploying machine learning models for healthcare products, including monitoring controlled substances, patient privacy, and inventory management.
• Defining and tracking KPIs to evaluate model performance and impact.
• Collaborating with product teams and stakeholders to scope projects, create prototypes, and translate business problems into quantitative hypotheses.
• Communicating technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including in customer-facing meetings.
• Informing product development, assessing technical feasibility, and managing project risks.
• Adapting to new healthcare data sources and evolving ML techniques, while enhancing team skills through collaboration and documentation.

Qualifications Include

• Degree or experience in data science, statistics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with statistical models, machine learning, and deploying code via APIs.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD).
• Experience with healthcare data, MLOps, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
